What we collect

Account: the email address, name and profile picture provided by Google sign-in.

Service: the TikTok username you give us, and public TikTok data related to your niche (public profiles, videos and their statistics), collected to build your weekly opportunities.

Waitlist: your email address and language.

Billing: handled entirely by Dodo Payments Inc. — we never see or store your card details. We keep your subscription status and billing identifiers.

Technical logs: API usage metrics needed to operate and secure the service.

Why we use it

To provide the service (profile analysis, weekly opportunities), handle billing, send transactional emails (and the launch email if you joined the waitlist), and keep the service secure.

Legal bases: performance of the contract, our legitimate interest in operating the service, and your consent for the waitlist.

Processors and transfers

We rely on a small number of carefully selected service providers, covering the following categories: web hosting, database and authentication (EU, Paris region), background job processing, AI-based analysis of public content, collection of public TikTok data, payment processing, and DNS/email routing.

Some of these providers are located outside the EU; those transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The named list of our processors is available on request at contact@bangerscout.com.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept as long as your account exists and deleted upon request. Waitlist emails are kept until launch, or until you ask to be removed. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires.

Cookies

BangerScout only uses the session cookies required to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking.

Your rights

You can access, rectify, delete or port your data, and object to or restrict its processing, by writing to contact@bangerscout.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority (CNIL, cnil.fr).

Public TikTok data

The TikTok content analyzed by the service is publicly available data. If you are a creator and want one of your public videos excluded from our analyses, write to us.
